As an Orlando wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to capture Kaylan and Mike's wedding at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, FL. This wedding was a celebration of love and commitment, with the couple surrounded by their family and friends.
Kaylan and Mike's color scheme was shades of purple and ivory, which created a stunning and elegant atmosphere for the wedding. Kaylan's bridesmaids wore floor-length lavender dresses that perfectly complemented the color scheme. The groomsmen, on the other hand, wore black suits, which provided a classic and timeless look. Mike himself wore a light grey suit, which added a touch of sophistication and modernity to the wedding.
The ceremony was held in Plaza Fontana, overlooking the lake, and despite the cloudy day, it was a beautiful backdrop for the couple to exchange their vows. One of the most unique moments of this wedding was when their “flower dude” came out and charmed all the guests. Miguel and I were laughing behind our cameras as he sashayed down the aisle.
We captured some stunning photos on the bridge and in front of the waterfall, which added a natural and picturesque element to the photos. The couple was beaming with joy, and the love they had for each other was palpable, making it a pleasure to capture those moments for them. Kaylan's dress was a lace mermaid gown that fit her beautifully, and the intricate details on the lace added a touch of delicacy and femininity to her look. The bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement of lavender roses, purple spray roses, purple orchids, soft white hydrangeas, and other purple and soft white flowers, along with eucalyptus and other greenery. The colors and textures of the bouquet complemented the color scheme and added a touch of natural beauty to the wedding.
The reception was held in the La Hacienda restaurant, which was decorated with twinkle lights in the draping on the ceiling. This added a romantic and magical element to the atmosphere. The centerpieces on the tables were purple, which brought the color scheme together and added a pop of color to the room. The room was filled with joy and laughter, and everyone was having a great time celebrating the newlyweds.
One of the highlights of the reception was the shoe game that Kaylan and Mike played. The game is where the couple sits back to back and holds each other's shoes. The emcee then asks a series of questions, and the couple raises the shoe of the person who the question applies to. It was a fun way to get everyone involved and provided some comedic relief during the reception.
The night ended with a sparkler exit, which was a magical way to end the day. The guests lined up outside with sparklers in hand, and the couple walked out hand in hand, with the sparklers lighting up the night sky. It was a perfect end to a perfect day.
As a wedding photographer, I am always honored to capture the special moments and memories of a couple's wedding day. Kaylan and Mike's wedding at Mission Inn Resort and Club was no exception. It was a beautiful celebration of love, commitment, and family, and it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it. The colors, the decor, and the overall atmosphere of the wedding were stunning, and it was a joy to capture those moments for them to cherish for years to come.
