I love, love, LOVE this engagement session! I met Vi and Marco at the the Cypress Grove Estate House a couple of weeks ago for their engagement session. It looked like it was going to rain all day, and the forecast for the evening was not in our favor. But, at the last moment, the skies cleared (somewhat), and we were able to do their photos. It was hot and humid, as Central Florida summers tend to be, but these two were troopers. I am obsessed with how their photos turned out!
Jess & Derek Magic Kingdom Session - Lake Buena Vista, Florida
This session was such a blast to shoot! These two love birds are Disney cast members, who met at Disney, and he proposed at Disney. So, clearly, there was no better place for their session. I am also kind of obsessed with Disney, so this was just overall an awesome session :)
One of the many things that I love about this couple is their willingness to be silly and have fun. Not every photo session has to be super serious. The photos become special when the couple lets their personality come through, and Jess and Derek certainly did that.
There was one thing that did make me really sad during this session. Because of all of the exciting new changes at Magic Kingdom, the spot where Derek proposed was under construction. However, we were able to go to some locations that haven't been available in the past.
Tip number one if you want your engagement or portrait session done at a Disney park: arrive right at park open! Also, go on a week day if you can. Were there people all over the place as we did these photos? Of course, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been.

Courtney & Matt - Engagement Session - St. Cloud, Florida
Have I mentioned before how much I absolutely love photographing at this location? Seriously, the Lake Runnymede Conservation Area is so very beautiful, and the perfect backdrop for this couple's engagement photos.
The easiest couples to photograph are the ones that act the most naturally in front of the camera. What was great about theses two was that they were not afraid to just be themselves. They were laughing and having fun the entire time, which made them such a joy to photograph. :) But the best part is, they were able to tone down the silly and have some really sweet and romantic moments for their photos too.
Since my birthday is in September, sapphire has always been my favorite gem. Well, ladies and gentlemen, take a look at this sapphire stunner! Courtney's ring is crazy gorgeous. And to make it even better, Matt had the ring specially designed just for his love.

Couple's Photography Session at Shingle Creek Regional Park in Kissimmee
Last weekend, I got to meet up with these two awesome people, who also happen to be really good friends of mine. We frolicked around Shingle Creek Park in Kissimmee while taking their romantic and sun filled photos :) I am so excited to be able to share them with you all!
I love the romantic and serious photos just as much as the next person, but my favorites are always the ones where the couple are really being themselves and acting naturally. Then, I really get to take the candid shots that I love, and the couple's personalities really shine. Below are actually my favorites from this session because Kelsey and Jason are acting natural, happy, and silly :). I've known this couple since they were just two college kids with a crush on each other, and silly has been their default setting since day one, which makes them so. much. fun. to be around :)
