Winter Park Wedding - L&J - Backyard Wedding

One of my favorite types of weddings to photograph is a backyard wedding. Every one that I have had the privilege of being a part of has been a beautiful wedding full of romance, intimacy, and fun. This one was no different. The weather on L&J's wedding day was perfect, the bride looked amazing, and the groom was crazy excited to be marrying the love of his life. All in all, this is my kind of wedding. I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I loved taking them!

Up The Creek Farms - Venue Spotlight - Valkaria, Florida

Words cannot describe how much I absolutely LOVE this venue! Up the Creek Farms is my dream wedding venue, without a doubt. It is the perfect spot for a vintage glam or country chic wedding. Your ceremony can take place underneath majestic oak trees draped with Spanish Moss, and your reception will be in a gorgeous barn/ballroom. The grounds provide ample choices for stunning photographs. There is not one bad thing about this venue!

Q&A With Up The Creek Farms

1.     WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL FEE?

The flat rental fee includes exclusive use of Up The Creek Farms for your wedding day. The fee covers guest parking with an attendant, 12 hours of venue rental from 11AM-11PM, bride and groom getting-ready suites, an outdoor ceremony, and an indoor, air-conditioned reception. The reception includes 60-inch round tables with your choice of linen color, and mahogany chairs. Your rental fee also includes a credit to event decor rental from Crystal & Crate. There is a per-person price for cocktail hour and food. This per-person price assumes a minimum of 100 guests, and a maximum of 200. There are discounts for non-Saturday weddings. 

2.     is there an event-coordinator on-site?

Yes, included in every package is a month-of coordinator. 

3.     ARE OUTSIDE CATERERS ALLOWED?

Up The Creek Farms does not allow the use of outside caterers. However, couples will have their choice of ten different caterers on the approved list. This gives you the ability to have any kind of food that you want at your wedding. 

4.     IS THERE A PREFERRED VENDOR LIST? IF SO, IS THERE A CHARGE TO USE A VENDOR OUTSIDE OF THE LIST?

There is a preferred vendor list, but there is no charge to go outside of the list. That being said, all vendors must have proof of liability insurance to work on property. 

5.     WHAT IS PLAN B INCASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?

You have two options for your outdoor ceremony in the case of inclement weather. The ceremony can be moved to the boat house, or the ceremony can be moved into the reception area. 

6.     HOW MANY WEDDINGS DOES UP THE creek farms host in a day?

Up The Creek Farms hosts a single wedding per day. This means you will not need to worry about working around other couples' celebrations.

St. Cloud Wedding - Vanity & Javan - Royal Crest Room

This wedding was the perfect mix between outdoor garden ceremony and elegant ballroom reception. V looked absolutely flawless in her wedding gown, and J was simply giddy to be marrying the love of his life. Weddings like theirs are so easy to photograph because their happiness is present in every photo. 

If I've said it once, I'll say it again. I LOVE the moment when a groom sees his bride walking down the aisle toward him! This groom could not stop smiling from the second his bride appeared. How adorable!

Orlando Wedding - L&J - St. James Cathedral and Aloft Orlando Downtown

This wedding was simply stunning from the start to the end. Beautiful ceremony venue? Check. Gorgeous couple? Check. Awesome reception venue? Check. St. James Cathedral was so incredible, I wish every church wedding took place there. 

Orlando Wedding - A&M - Fairfax Hall at Arlington Ridge

From the moment a bride-to-be says "yes" to that long-awaited question, the planning begins. Brides spend hours, weeks, months, sometimes even years planning out every single detail, making sure that nothing goes wrong for their big day. Almost every bride dreams that her wedding will be the most beautiful and memorable wedding that ever was. The truth is that it isn't the most stunning flowers or the most magnificent venue that make a wedding the best that it can be. The only thing needed to turn any old wedding into the best wedding ever is true love for the person you are marrying.

These two most certainly have that. There was not a moment of this wedding when A & M weren't looking at each other with love and excitement about their future together. It was a joy to witness.

My favorite part of any wedding day is when the groom gets to see his bride walking down the aisle toward him for the first time. They always have such sweet looks on their faces. 

Another one of my favorite moments of any wedding is the first dance. It is usually the first time that the bride and groom have a moment to themselves to just be happy in their new marriage. 

As much as I love the first dance, the parent dances will always hold a special place in my heart.
