As an Orlando wedding photographer, I've had the honor of photographing many beautiful weddings throughout Central Florida. But there's always something extra special when it's a wedding for a friend and colleague. That's why Danny and Robin's wedding at Moss Estates venue in Eustis, FL, will always hold a special place in my heart.
One of the most touching moments of the day was when Danny and Robin shared a first touch before the ceremony. This is a beautiful way for couples to connect without actually seeing each other before the ceremony. It allows them to exchange words of love and encouragement, calm their nerves, and share in the anticipation of the moment they'll soon become husband and wife.
Robin looked absolutely stunning in her sparkly lace ballgown, which perfectly complemented the blues and greys that were the wedding colors. Danny looked equally dapper in his suit and tie, and their son Samuel was an adorable ring bearer.
The day started off with rain, which can be nerve-wracking for any bride and groom on their wedding day. But Robin and Danny remained calm and collected, trusting that everything would work out just as it should. And, as if on cue, the rain stopped just in time for their outdoor ceremony under a huge oak tree.
The ceremony itself was beautiful, but the real magic happened afterwards, when Danny and Robin shared private vows in the field. As an Orlando wedding photographer, I've seen many couples exchange vows in front of their guests, but there's something truly special about the intimacy of private vows.
The rain from the earlier storm left the sky a spectacular show. The sunset through the storm clouds was breathtaking and made a stunning backdrop to their portraits.
After the ceremony, it was time for the reception inside the barn. The venue was beautifully decorated, and the band had everyone up and dancing.
One of the highlights of the evening was the hora, a traditional Jewish dance where the bride and groom are lifted up in chairs while their friends and family dance around them. It's always a joy to photograph such a lively and festive tradition.
As the night drew to a close, Danny and Robin had a sparkler exit. This is a fun way for couples to end the night on a high note and create some unforgettable photos. And unforgettable is exactly what Danny and Robin's wedding was.
